comfortably. For the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, we have special doublers consisting of a lambs wool center piece and sturdy strap that goes around
the twin mattresses horizontally to
keep everything snug making for a very comfortable king size bed. Let me know

The house has everything you would expect in a
quality vacation home plus a few extras: Want to help Kauai's environment? Choose an earth friendly vacation home like Aikane Kauai. Recycling bins are provided on site and hot water is provided by the abundant sunshine at Poipu Beach. There is an electric back-up but it rarely gets used. |
Within a 2 to 5 minute level walk from the house: 2 sandy beaches for snorkeling, swimming, fishing and body boarding, deli, 2 restaurants, open grassy areas for beach picnics, playground equipment, pavilions, and a surf shop. Within a mile: Poipu Village Shopping Center, 2 Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf courses (Kiahuna and the Poipu Bay Golf Course, home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf), horseback riding, hiking, and 10 more restaurants.
Public tennis courts are available 2 miles away in Koloa. Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort is under a half mile away and has four courts available for $20 per person per hour (tel. 808/742-1234). Kiahuna Tennis Club is a half mile away and has 10 courts renting for $10 per person per hour (tel. 808/742-9533).

Not bringing hardware? No problem. Koloa Public Library has several computer terminals. The library is about a mile away on Poipu Road in Koloa adjacent to Koloa Elementary School.
